Nevada Twilight Meet – What a great day to be a Grizzly!!
The #BoysOfSteele ran in their 1st Varsity race (as freshman) for Galena High School at the Nevada Twilight Cross Country Classic on September 1st.
Kole Steele finished in 10th place (3rd for the team) and Hunter Steele placed 25th (4th for the team) with times of 14:42 and 15:18 over a 4100m course with 16 teams (from Nevada and California) and 82 Varsity Athletes competing. Boys Varsity Results
Both Boys ran strong and had great races!! The Galena HS Boys Varsity team won the contest with Spencer Wirshing, Jackson Hughes, Kole Steele, Hunter Steele, Drew Hicks, Nicholas Bratcher, and Paul Dannenberg representing for a team score of 74!
The Girls Varsity, Boys JV, and Girls JV all also won their races with a clean sweep for the Galena High School Cross Country program. #GoGalenaXC
The Boys can’t wait for their next adventure at the Nevada Union Cross Country Invitational in Grass Valley, CA on September 10, 2022! Other upcoming events include the Galena HOKA Postal Nationals 3200, Tom Laythe Cross Country Invitational, and Flat SAC Invitational!
